Jared J. Smith is a podcast producer, director, editor, and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.

Jared has produced, directed, and/or edited projects for Spotify, Paramount, PAVE Studios, Film Nation, iHeartPodcasts, and others. He is the creator of the award-winning fiction podcast The Phenomenon, and was a producer on the independent feature film AUDITION, which successfully screened on the indie festival circuit and was awarded Best Documentary at the Lone Star Film Festival.

Jared has spoken and given presentations at New York Comic Con, Podfest, and PodTales, and was awarded Best New Speculative Fiction Podcast by the Parsec Awards and Best Director of a Fiction Podcast by the Audio Verse Awards.
